The Wild Frontier

In the shadowlands geist, ferals, and leeches prowl. Beacons, land locked lighthouses, keep the shadows at bay. Gunslingers and faithful press against the border to make way for an expanding railroad. Postmen carry beacon light as they erect lamps in the fresh made territory. In the lamp’s safety, work crews lay fresh rail. 

The Barons care only for progress. They scheme to be the one who completes the Great Line first. Their capital backs nearly every building and most citizens of the Frontier. It's the way of life here until your debt is called.

Then, the last trek begins. You lift your torch in search of Lost Cities to reclaim them as new Bastions. The Barons will clear the debt of any Called who delivers them a bastion. The brave few who try pray that gunsmoke and grace will protect them. Their legends are carried in songs and sagas.

Gunsmoke & Grace reskins Songs & Sagas to explore a haunted western shadowland. Beaten down by ever encroaching capitalism and pragmatism, players take on the role of debt saddled Called. Frontier adventures willing to venture beyond the safety of lamp light into the shadows. There lie the ruins of former civilizations who reached the industrial age before collapings under their own folly's. Will you uncover lessons to learn, or simply survive in a harsh world free from the Barons? Play to find out.

In keeping with the open spirit, I'm including the link directly to the google doc. I had intended to use this project as a vehicle for improving my Affinity skills, but life and time are cruel mistresses. Please feel free to make a copy and use as a base for your own future projects. It uses a 4 column layout which I achieved by importing a different base template lost now as Google Docs doesn't natively allow you to make the layout natively.
